4.5 Olive You

Olive you, a bushel and a peck.
A bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck.
A hug around the neck, and a barrel and a heap.
A barrel and a heap, and I'm talkin' in my sleep.
About you. About you.
'Cause, I love you, a bushel and a peck.
You bet your purdy neck I do!"

I'm in an odd mood. However, I'm drinking fantastic coffee. Perhaps the two are related? Today I was going to formulate a list like Emily did in her blog, but I think I'll wait a day on that, to actually think of worthwhile things to list off. So, stay tuned. :]

I always check the dates on the milk I'm purchasing, to pick the one that expires the latest, as I'm sure many of you do. Always. However, today I forgot to check. I get back to my dorm, and when does it expire? Today. BAH. I am going to have to go through this thing fast.

Tomorrow for my acting class, I'm performing a scene from The Odd Couple with two of my friends. I don't really like the scene much. I liked the first one we picked out called The While Buffalo, but then a certain someone dropped the class and we absorbed his partner. So our quaint little partnership became a trio. Hence, a worse script. I do get to talk about lamps, though. Emotional stuff, here.

Can we all pause to listen to this song, so I'm not the only one singing it all day long? Thanks. I love you. Edit: Now I've moved on to pretty much every other Guys and Dolls song. Currently I am being told to Sit Down, Because I'm Rocking the Boat.

Now that we're all humming about bushels, let's talk about why today is awesome. Two words: Opening Day. They lost, but this is okay. When the bats start crackin', it's officially spring, and everyone is happy. Also, I may or may not be growing fond of the Twins. WAIT. STOP YOUR SHOCK AND HORROR. The Brewers will ALWAYS* be my number one. But, I mean, this state is growing on me, and the Twins are awfully nice (looking! baha kidding... kind of).

Okay, tomorrow: A list. Lists are more interesting, I feel. Interesting is always good.

Rad: Opening Day.
Unrad: Being excited to bring your rollerblades back to school, only to realize they disappeared.

*See? I capitalized, italicized, and bolded it! I mean it!

xx

  1. A baseball fan? I feel like we become more of the same person everyday. Only, I'm a lifelong Astros fan, even though they choked in the 2005 series and still haven't managed to recover...

Good luck drinking the milk! That happens to my roommate and I sometimes, so we get together a group of friends to order cookies and provide the milk as our contribution. =]
